There is some surface rust on the housing from the truck sitting for some time before being parted out, this will not affect its function and is easily cleaned. This will only fit 00-02 trucks with the 32 spline count axles. 94-99 are a 30 spline and will not work. New bearings will be needed, one was damaged in removal of the carrier. There were no metal shavings in the fluid, and removed from a good running and driving truck. Sold as is. Please view all pictures carefully, i have done my best to show the defects. This part was removed from a running 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually with a 5.9L Cummins 24 valve diesel. It will fit many other years and models with a similar engine.
