This book looks to give a good account of the history/development of the iron industry in Great Britain.  Also much info on particularly noteworthy individuals who made significant contributions to this field.  Hard to find in this early edition.

Interior very good condition.  One small numeral written on title page.   Otherwise no interior markings, staining, foxing or torn or bent pages.  Not ex-library.  Binding is holding well.  Text is clear.   Cover and spine show some wear and fading.  See photos please. 

Throwing in a bonus book:  American Iron 1607-1900.  by Robert B. Gordon.  Published by The John Hopkins University Press Baltimore  1996.    341 pages.  Very good condition - no interior markings.  No dust jacket.
