This listing is for 2 sets of older Japan moriage tea cups and saucers. They are identical and done in a light green coloring which is unusual for these as most
are done in grays, browns and blues. These have an Asian scene done in the
moriage on both sides of the cups and saucers. Each has a Geisha lady
lithopane which is seen in the bottom of the cup when held up to the light. These
are demitasse size as the cups measure about 1 7/8 inches tall and are 3 1/8
inches wide including handle. Saucers are 4 1/2 inches wide. Nice gold trim
around the edge of the saucers, cups and outside handle. One cup/saucer is
in very nice condition. The other set has a tiny chip on the cup top edge near
the handle. Both saucers are marked "Made in Japan." Please see pictures
for the unusual coloring, scene, lithopanes and tiny size chip.
