This is a "Re-purposed" vintage 1920s antique item - cleaned up, repainted, re-wired and re-fitted for a new life as a table lamp. The base is stepped cast iron with a stainless steel center band. The main shield body is also stainless, with a steel spider web cage. A porcelain socket, Edison style bulb, and updated red twisted rayon wire cord, matching red in-line toggle switch, and acorn style plug help convert this old parlor "heat" lamp to a funky living room statement piece for your home or office. Angle of shield can be adjusted, and it casts a really cool beam of light straight across the room when lit. The Edison Bulb gives it a warm "moon-go" effect. This item does show some wear and use, since it is a repurposed antique - some marks and flaking on the reflective shield, dents on the base, etc. But the paint is fresh, and it cleaned up really nice, and is ready to adorn your man-cave or diva den! Please feel free to ask questions, check out the pictures for better idea on overall item condition, and thank you for looking!
