Pry bars can damage expensive aluminum transmission cases, and attempting to do the job by pulling on the axis can damage the roller bearing inside the C.V. joint.
With this puller, the axle assembly is popped out of the transaxle without damage, thanks to the straight, even pull provided by the slide hammer.
Size: CV joint fork removing adapter with 2'' opening and 2.5'' depth, 5/8"-18 thread, firmly lock onto your axle assembly, making removal of stuck CV joints a cinch.
Tool is available with fork only, C.V. joint slide hammer assembly, or just the slide hammer extension.
