Petromax cast iron pot is available in various sizes, please select from the drop down list the required size. The pot has a pre-seasoned finish to make the first seasoning unnecessary. Not only can the pot be used as a dutch oven but when the lid is turned upside down it can also be used as a skillet. The pot has a flat base and is perfect for use on open camp fires with charcoal or briquettes or in the oven. The pot has a thermometer hole so you do not need to lift the lid to check the temperature.
Cast iron is a fantastic material to cook with as it holds the heat for a long time and evenly distributes heat. With the design of the Petromax lid you can even place embers or charcoal on the lid to heat your food from all sides, great when baking bread.
