The paper with the grid that is behind the photo is white with black grid lines. Most of the railroad photos that I am listing have a slightly yellowed tint to them from age.

***Regarding my railroad Photograph listings on EBay:

Most of my photo listings have two views each of the front and back. One of the two is the raw photo, as it is, to show you the condition of the surface, amount of curl, bends, wrinkles, fading, etc... The second view is the photo flattened under a piece of glass. The flattened view will show the size of the image, but there are some reflections in the glass. Some reflections make the photo look faded or blurry. So make sure to use the curled version to assess the quality of the actual photo. (if the photo is flat to begin with, then I might not have included the photos of it under glass.)

These photos are from an estate collection. Some have writing on the back that I show in the images. I only mention the date if it is marked or written on the photo, or if I have another photo taken at the same time (of the same subject) that has an associated date. I do not guarantee that my dates or any other information in this listing are correct. It is possible that some photos are old prints of even older negatives (I'll let you decide.) See photos for the condition of this image. I try to represent the size with a scale of some sort (ruler, 1" grid, quarter, etc...) You may see flaking, bends, corner wrinkles, etc. Most photos are curled a little bit. All of my listings show the photo as it is.
