For your consideration is a beautiful semi-black opal (N6) from Lightning Ridge, Australia. It features very bright (3.5/5) blue, green, and a little gold in a Non-directional broadflaah pattern. The nicely domed, oval-cut gem weighs 4.74 carats. It measures 16mm long by 10.5mm wide by 5mm high. I've got a fantastic price on this one because there's a clay pit on the side. Clean face-up and no cracks or crazing. As always, this is an all-natural, untreated gemstone, mined from Mother Earth.
