Graffiti Urban Street Art Legends EASY & KIT 17 Tagged this Original Mixed Media tag on Artist's Canvas-board. We believe the mixed media is Acrylic and possibly Markers as well. Bold yet Straightforward tags of each of the legends are placed upon a spectacular background - exploding with color on a mostly blue (different shades) field. Both their dark gold tags are rimmed with reflective black paint, giving added depth. They are from the Mission Graffiti crew, also known as the MG Boys, and is a classic Bronx crew established 1973 by neighborhood kids on 198th Street. Later on, in 1974, the crew moved to 204th Street and Bainbridge Avenue and would hang out in the local McDonald's on 204th Street. In 1975 the crew would eventually settle on Mosholu Parkway, at a place known as The Rail, a famous hangout spot for Bronx writers.
Canvas board measures 14 X 18 and is in Good to Very Good condition with minor corner dents - covered once framed.
