Tired of soft wrenches or China grade fasteners that strip out easily?   The poorly formed fastener imitations included with these otherwise excellent tool holder sets are rumored to be made of clay.  ;-)

Upgrades the Import 0XA tool post set with excellent quality fasteners.  Contains 18 high-hold set screws for the 5 tool holders, 2 socket heads for boring bar holder and 2 excellent quality matching Bondhus long hex keys Made in the USA.

The special blunt cone point high-hold set screws get maximum force on your insert holders and HSS cutting tools.  They will not tend to move to move the tool when tightened like the poorly formed barrel tips of the included fasteners often can.  Harder highly quality screws are also much less likely to come loose.  The forces of vibration have less leverage to turn the screws because of the smaller diameter contact area.

Why wait till you have stripped fastener and a stuck tool?  Replace them up front and fix the only real issue with the import tool holder sets.

Tool Tips:
I theorized the 0XA would fit many 4" lathes.  I purchased mine for use on the Harbor Freight 4x5 95012 Micro Lathe.  This is the same as the Grizzly G0745 4x6 micro lathe and the Sieg C0.  I also own a Taig and Unimat SL250 which I think the 0XA tool posts can be used with.  Normally recommended for 6-9" lathes.  I've seen one on an Atlas 10" and it's just too small.  Generally speaking if your lathes swing is 9"-12", you should go with AXA.  At 13"-14", go with BXA.  In tool posts; bigger isn't better; the right size is best always!

Most of us know to run our tools as short as possible to reduce chatter, but most of you do not consider the overhang to the left of the compound.  YES - Run the tool holder as far to the right side of the compound to reduce it's left overhang.   There you go, bonus free lesson before you buy.  ;-)
