This is a high strength 1:2 ratio tincture in a 25% gluten free alcohol/Filtered spring water.

Liquorice Root (also spelt Licorice) is wonderful herb that has a distinctive taste and a wide range of uses.

Licorice is an expectorant and therefore cough syrups often include it as an ingredient. Inhibiting Helicobacter pylori, it is also used as an aid for healing stomach, mouth, duodenal and peptic ulcers, and in moderate amounts may soothe an upset stomach.

Directions/Dosage: Most people take around 2/3mls of herbal tincture morning and evening, usually in a beverage. Water or cordial are fine. Fresh juices are the best choice if possible though, as the Vitamin C aids nutrient absorption and also some tinctures can be quite strong tasting and fruit juice sweetens them.
