CURVE-FLEX-Economy -  Laminated - LONGBOARD Sanding Block.

1.25" Thick x 2.75" Wide the following lengths; 5 1/2",  6", 8", 10", 12", 16 1/2", & 20" Long.

This economy tool is made of 1 1/4" inch thick Ultra Light and flexible - closed cell material.


This block uses standard 2 3/4" wide auto body longboard pressure sensitive adhesive sandpaper. 


Our CURVE -FLEX - Economy Hand Sanding BLOCK is for use with auto body PSA, pressure sensitive adhesive sandpaper.  Use longboard sheets 2 3/4" x 16 1/2".  Use more than one sheet and cut with a scissors for the 20" long board or use longboard sandpaper available 2 3/4" wide in cut to length rolls.

NO SANDPAPER IS INCLUDED IN THIS KIT!!!  Some pictures may show sandpaper for demonstration only.  

Use open coat abrasive that can be unloaded if clogged by whacking the face of the sandpaper with a thin wire rod such as a coat hanger or small wooden rod.  PSA sandpaper is also available in small rolls.  Use an old pair of scissors to cut abrasive to the desired length.

This unique rubber material is just the right stiffness.  It is great for sanding flat surfaces and can be flexed by hand to sand contours on automobiles, boats, or even a curved or flat wall at home.  The blocks can easily be flexed or can be flattened to sand curves or flats.  It is also an excellent tool to sand wood, painted surfaces, and repair sheetrock.

These Longboard Sanding Blocks are our Economy blocks.  They are made in the USA of imported materials.  We have sold a sanding pad-block made of this material for about 20 years and are now expanding the sizes to include these thicker and longer sanding blocks.  Each block is bonded and cut to size.  It is then machined flat and coated with a special coating for maximum adhesion by PSA sandpaper.

Some companies invest a significant amount of money and resources blending and custom ordering compounds that have good adhesion properties.  We source our materials based on high volume standard available materials.  We then add our special pad coating thus providing a low cost tool with consistent adhesion to PSA sandpaper.
