Many marriages that ended in divorce can be declared to have been null in Catholic Church law. That doesn't deny they existed. It doesn't affect the status of children. It usually means simply that there was a problem at the time they were formed that meant the foundation for a good (happy, successful, fulfilling) marriage was lacking something.

A successful 'annulment' frees the applicant to celebrate another marriage in Church. For some, it simply gives peace of mind.

The book explains what an annulment is and how one is obtained, as well as the reasons that a marriage can be declared null. It also explains, in the final chapter, how Catholics who are in a second marriage without having obtained an annulment might nevertheless be able to receive the Eucharist.

This book is sold internationally and now has eight 5-star reviews elsewhere. It is also available in Norwegian.
