This Load Indicator is a reliable, easy-to-use system that is suitable for both Telescoping and Fixed Boom Cranes.  

Price is for a Single hoist winch, telescoping boom crane with a maximum boom length of 24m

Longer boom systems are available for an additional cost 

includes:

LCD Display unit, 

Relay junction box

Cable Recoil Drum, with boom length sensor, digital boom angle sensor 

Rope Rider Dynamometer, or 2 x Pressure transducers 

Over hoist switch (A2B), counterweight & cable guides

All cables required for the system.

This can be used to replace old or un-serviceable PAT, Kruger, Greer, Kato, Tadano or other crane load indicators.

The system is manufactured by Custom Crane Safety (Pty) Ltd, located in Johannesburg and carries a one year Guarantee on all parts and components if installed by our technician.

The system will display on an LCD the following: 

         Boom length

         Boom angle

         Radius of load

         Load on hook (actual load) and Permissible maximum load (rated load)

         lifted load as a Percentage of max load

         A-2-B alarm when hook block nears boom head

         Overload alarm,  with cut off

             Main hook lifted load,

             Auxiliary hook lifted load

             Hook rope falls for main hook and auxiliary hook    

             Fly Jib angle if needed

             Date and Time

    Load input Via Rope dynamometer or pressure transducer 

       The system also has a 30A Relay output for crane motion cut-off on overload and over hoists (A-2-B) events
    Warning output for approaching (80%) max load.
     
    Relay output to control crane cut off and external warning lights and Claxton audio alarm.

Data logging of 220 exception events, 

I.E. overload event,  KG/ton with percentage of max load including, Date and time of the event, over-hoist with time and date
