Beautiful 19th-century watercolor pastoral showing a young boy at the river’s edge in autumn. Expertly rendered in brown earth tones against a cream background, signed in the lower left corner with what looks like the name “Charles Walters.” Large-format watercolor measuring 14.5” by 10.75”, with thin wooden mat with gilt order, under glass, and with original wooden frame, total dimensions 22.75” by 18.5”. Print in excellent condition, some general scrapes and edgewear to frame.
