Ancient and very rare Dagger-Ax Chinese ceremonial Nephrite Jade or "Jade Ge" of the Dynasty Zhou (1122 bC - 249 bC) to Han Dynasty (206 bC-220 aD) is a very rare piece and partly complex to catalog. This particular artifact is made of Jade Nephrite, with a gray-greenish color and good translucency and brightness. After a personal study, we have come to appreciate that its state of preservation is quite good and retains good polish, brightness and translucency. However, we must mention that it has some small damage in the longer dagger, since that end and the base have suffered an alteration by natural calcification, losing consistency due to a long burial of hundreds or thousands of years (it still conserves some land). This leads us to conclude, based on the material, the design and the calcification, that this artifact has been unearthed from a tomb belonging to some important personage of the time. This is a truly unique and remarkable piece of history, one that is incredibly valuable and has been preserved over thousands of years. It is truly a treasure, and it serves as a reminder of the past and the importance of preserving history.
