  • It has an index to chiefl cities and three insets:  Iceland, Bornholm, and the Faroe Islands.


  • The country's southern border conforms to treaties following the Second War of Schleswig in 1863 and the Austro-Prussian War of 1866 and extends east from Ribe in southwest Jutland, along the course of the river Kongeå.


  • The map was published by Rand McNally in 1901 and is dated in the lower corner.


  • The image area measures 31.7 x 23.2 cm [12½" x 9¼"]. Longitude is measured from Greenwich, and the distance scales are calibrated in kilometers and statute miles.
