A bit about King Edward VII School:

King Edward VII School is widely known as by its initials "KE7". It is a premier secondary school located in Taiping, Malaysia. Established in 1883 as Central School, the second Principal, Roger Francis Stainer, proposed that the school name be changed from Central School Educational Centre to King Edward VII School, in conjunction with the coronation of King Edward VII, who ascended the English throne in 1901. King Edward VII School was inaugurated by H.R.H. the Sultan of Perak in 1905. It is one of the oldest schools in Malaysia. The students are known as Edwardians or Tigers and, as alumni, Old Edwardians (KE7). Many Who's Who of Malaysia were notable alumni of KE7.

Here we have is ONE genuine color postcard in a near mint condition depicting the beautiful and scenic view of King Edward VII School in the 1950s/1960s. At the back of the postcard is printed the following words "An English School in Taiping" and its Chinese translation, plus serial number #3329. A must-have for any keen postcard enthusiast who wants to complete his or her own collections of old and vintage Malaya postcards. Size is about 8.6 cm x 13.6 cm.
