This power steering pump bracket will mount a stock-style GM power steering pump to a Small Block Chevy engine block. Bracket locates pump on the lower left side of the engine block and MUST be used with a short style water pump. Power steering bracket is made from 1/4" thick steel, has a black powder coat finish and is designed to work with a pump that has a threaded pulley shaft, not a press-on style pulley. This type of pump was typical used on mid-size GM cars from about 1970-1982. Due to the variety of pulley configurations, it is likely that you will have to space the pump/bracket for exact belt alignment!!
Requires 1970-82 GM Saginaw style pump with threaded shaft.
