** Clarification **

Cable has 3 pins, 1 ground and 2 channels. This can either both LEFT and RIGHT for headphones or LEFT and RIGHT for MIC,
the cable will not work with a MIC and HEADPHONES at the same time because the stream of data is going in opposite directions!

Cable is extremely versatile and can be used with as many different devices as you can think of

Typical examples of output splitter are:

There are lots more applications that this cable can be used

Both Audio or Mic are split to both channels. Therefore this cable is NOT suitable for use with separate headphones and mic with 2 pin jacks.
