This 100% genuine sheepskin shearling leather vest is buttery soft, lightweight, comfortable, and super warm.

Our vest is traditionally made from 100% genuine sheepskin shearling leather with a classic, aged look and deep-pile natural shearling along the body. With two plastic claws closures are not visible because of the long haired genuine long haired sheepskin Toscana fur used for the edges of the vest and two pockets.

It is made from pure “one face” sheepskin leather. Unlike other similar items on the market, this is made of 100% genuine sheepskin shearling leather and 100% genuine sheepskin long haired Toscana fur , and is not “lined” in any way, allowing the skin to breathe.

Sheepskin, also called lambskin, is different from regular leather in that it is tanned on one side but retains its fleece on the other.

Its fibers are hollow inside and they're a great insulator: they will keep your body temperature pretty much constant, acting like a thermostat.

Our sizing table in details of listing has measurements of the ACTUAL COATS when they are fully closed, laying down flat, so you can compare those measurements with your existing coat/jacket of the similar thickness. To get correct size, please take your old coat/jacket of SIMILAR THICKNESS, fully close it (zipper or buttons), lay it down flat on the table, and measure distance between underarms (armpit to armpit), and then compare it with my sizing table -- Chest row. If your number is between sizes of the sizing table, please choose the larger of the two. It will give a "like for like" comparison when choosing the best size for your new leather or sheepskin leather jacket or coat. This is the best, accurate, and quick way to determine your size.

Measurements refer to the garment, not body size. The measurements were taken while garment is fully closed and is laying down flat. This will give you a sense of how fitted or relaxed the garment will be. You can also compare these measurements to your old existing garment of similar thickness.

·      Chest: From armpit to armpit at the fullest part of the chest, approximately 1" beneath the armpits while garment is laying down flat.

·         Sleeve: Length from the end of shoulder, and down the outside of the arm to the end of the cuff. Can be adjustable due to the folding of the cuff.

·         Bottom: Bottom width of the garment from end to end.

·         Body length: Length from the center back of the garment from the collar seam to the bottom of garment.
