Strain Relief Bushing for Power Cords
Heyco, Self- locking,  PN: ST-101AT
Hole size 11.5mm x 13mm
for 18/2, 18/3 and 16/2 cords
(Quantity 5)

Heyco ST-101AT  Designed to be installed in a U shape panel slot (see schematic). Securely anchors, insulates, and protects cables at panel entry point. Slim head profile makes ST 101A design-specific. Self-locking design speeds placement of the bushing onto the cable and thus lowers costs.

Nylon fasteners are Assembly Friendly.  Independent of insertion into the chassis, Lockit Nylon Strain Reliefs self-lock onto the cable.  Thus, they may be pre-assembled off-line for final nylon fastener assembly at a later time or remote location, for a lower installed cost.  Lockit SRs hold so well they pass the UL pull-out test requirement with or without chassis support. Nylon fasteners protect the lifeline of your electric/electronic products by absorbing the forces of push and pull that may be exerted on the flexible power cord.  Their rectangular design eliminates the possibility of part rotation under forces of twist.  Lockits' three finger design securely anchors into chassis. Five locking steps and a slim head profile make Lockits design-specific.  Molded of type 6/6 nylon.  ASTM D-4066; flammability classification 94V-2; temperature index 125°C. Maximum temperature on the part shall not exceed 105°C.

Here's all you need to know about using these Heyco ST-101A bushings:  They are made for 18/2, 18/3, and 16/2 power cords with the sizes shown above - .220" to .290".  You place them onto the power cord before the power cord is placed into your enclosure.  For this purpose they are self-locking; they click onto your power cord and don't spin.  You have the choice to put them on as simply as using a pair of pliers as shown here, or you can get semi-automated equipment to do thousands of them.  (I only have about 2,000 of them to sell on Ebay.)   Your assembler should be able to attach several hundred in an afternoon.

They are designed to be placed into a U-shaped hole in your enclosure — i.e., the open part of the "U" will be on the seam where your enclosure's top and bottom come together.  The hole should be .453" (11.5mm) wide and .512" (13mm) wide. The enclosure thickness is optimally .062".   Then as you put the enclosure together, you simply slide the power cord into the hole and it firmly locks into place - simple and effective.
