You are looking at a Pro-Tek 8" Shifter Linkage Shift Rod made from 303 Stainless Steel. This 6mm standard pitch rod is brand new and comes unpackaged (sold that way directly from the manufacturer).

This rod comes with a 6mm left hand nut on one side and a 6mm right hand nut on the other side for adjusting and tightening when screwing into the bike shifter heim joint and motor mount heim joint. 

The rod is 8 inches long from end to end with a 7/8" right-hand threaded end portion and a 7/8" left-hand threaded end portion. The rod has a 6.25" un-threaded middle section.
