Ingenious time saving tool and essential for any garage. Measures the brake pad lining on the vehicle without removing the road wheel. Slim design enables the tool to locate the rear of the pad backing plate, allowing the probe to measure the distance between the underside of the backing plate and brake disc. Suitable for both internal and external brake pads and features a 1.5mm and calibration check marking. Designed for brake pads that have a normal 6mm thick backing plate (Class IV, V).
