Pond Aerator Hose / Self-Weighted Pond Tubing / Pond Air Hose

When common air hose is used to between the compressor and the diffuser, it floats to the water surface. One solution is to tie bricks onto aeration hose, but the hose still floats in between the bricks, and the bricks eventually deteriorate.

Thick, heavy, rubberized, tough weighted PVC tubing designed specifically for the harsh conditions of lake & pond aeration.  It lays flat on the bottom of the water body instead of floating up to the top, making for a super-clean installation.
  • Virtually invisible once it is connected and in place.
  • Extremely durable, does not kink and remains flexible even in cold weather.
  • This inside of the tubing has a smooth bore finish so there is less resistance which makes your aeration system more efficient.
  • Allows for easier installation, placement and maintenance of diffusers without the hassle of weights, bricks, and ties to keep tubing in place.
  • Prevents interference & tangling with fishing lines, boats, swimmers, etc.
  • UV Resistant
  • Maximum Pressure: 50 psi
Common Uses Include:
  • Pond Aeration
  • Water Recirculation
  • Ice Clearing / De-icing
  • Waste Water Lagoon Treatment
  • Fish hatcheries
  • Septic Tanks

Minimum Bend Radius:

  • 3/8" ID: 3"
  • 1/2" ID: 4"
  • 5/8" ID: 5"

Dimensions:

  • 3/8" ID x 0.678" OD
  • 1/2" ID x 1.0" OD
  • 5/8" ID x 1.12" OD
Made to work in all weather, even the cold, so this sinking hose will provide many years of service.

Due to its weight, it will not float and requires no added weights during installation. Installation is easy and quick, compared to non-weighted tubing which requires added weights to keep it down.

Larger diameter tubing creates less back-pressure on the air pump & can supply air to more diffusers.
