This model has been reconfigured and provides two improved Realtek RTL2832U demodulators and Rafael Micro R820T2 chipset radio receivers with  28.800 MHz TCXO (Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator) for RX stability. It's design eliminates coax cable loss with the new designed connection using RG174 direct connection to the SMA female adapter. With the high grade 48 Centimeter (19 inch)  EXW Silver telescoping antenna adding additional gain you get superb performance in the FM, 2 meter, 70 cm and Public APCO (P25) digital radio bands.  The antenna adjusts at the base for best positioning and receiving and connects to radio with a SMA male connection.

Enclosed in a brushed silver aluminum enclosure adds additional benefit in receiving. Connects with a 10 foot 2.0 USB extension cable for best performance and has two suction cups for applying to clean flat surface (ie: window, table, etc.) rated for 6 pounds.
