Specialist Janome Needles:
Blue Tip Needle (75/11)
Janome’s exclusive Blue Tip needle is the ultimate all-purpose option for embroidery and general sewing. Perfect for fine to medium-weight fabrics, especially synthetics, it features an oversized eye for embroidery threads, reducing tension and thread breakage while making threading easier.
Red Tip Needle (90/14)
Designed for denser embroidery and thicker fabrics, the Red Tip needle offers extra strength and durability. Its enlarged eye is especially useful for metallic and speciality threads, helping to minimise thread breakage.
Purple Tip Needle (90/14)
Specially designed to prevent skipped stitches and puckering on stretch fabrics and difficult synthetics. Excellent for quilting layers, hems, and problem fabrics.
Leather Needles
Featuring a wedge-shaped point, these needles provide superior piercing power for genuine leather, suede, and heavy vinyl. They create clean, large holes for strong stitching. (Not recommended for synthetic leather or suede.)
Jeans/Denim Needles
Ideal for denim, canvas, duck cloth, and tightly woven heavy fabrics. Built with a reinforced shaft and sharp point to penetrate multiple dense layers without bending or breaking.

Mixed pack (75/11 x2, 90/14 x3) designed with an extra-large eye and groove for thicker topstitching threads, delivering precise decorative stitching.
Quilting/Patchwork Needles
Mixed pack (75/11 x3, 90/14 x2) with tapered points for smooth sewing through multiple quilt layers and intersecting seams while protecting delicate quilting fabrics.

Twin needles create two parallel rows of stitching simultaneously and are suitable for zig-zag machines threaded front to back.
Twin Needle Guide:
• First number = distance between needles (e.g. 4.0 = 4mm)
• Second number = needle thickness (higher number = thicker needle)
