Chinese watercolor-type painting on brown rice paper (I believe) with off-white silk damask matting;  back is stamped "hand painting made in China";  painting is 9" in diameter and matting is about 1.5" wide;  walnut (I believe) wood frame that is 14" in diameter;  hooks and wire on back make it ready to hang;  in great shape and I didn't find any stains, damage or flaws;  my grandparents traveled all over Europe and the Orient in the early 1960's and bought it on one of their trips.
