From the rare 1930 edition of extremely rare hand made pochoirs 

AFTER PABLO PICASSO (1881-1973, SPANISH) 

 

EDITION:  1250 ; This edition is very rare.  This pochoir is after an original painting by Pablo Picasso.  This artwork was created in 1930 in Paris, France.  The pochoir process was a difficult and time consuming process involving stencils and hand coloring.  Stencils and colors are often interchanged in order to create unique combinations.  Picasso approved and collaborated with the publisher in this edition.  

DIMENSIONS: Image 8.25 x 10.75 inches.  There is no frame but there is archival matting included with a custom name plate which states the name of the artwork, and the artist.  In addition, the custom matting has an inner gold gilt wood fillet border around the image and the name plate.   The dimensions are 22 x 18 inches with the custom matting. 

SIGNATURE: This artwork is not signed as issued.

CONDITION REPORT: This artwork is in very good condition.  The colors and contrasts are still very strong due to the nature of the thick inks used in the pochoir process.  There are small spots of scattered foxing in the margins not affecting the image.
