A vintage Garrard Type A II automatic record changer in a wood plinth, a well-built English deck and a good project for a restorer or a donor for parts. The speed selector is marked Made in England. The deck has a heavy rubber-matted platter with brushed aluminium ring, a light grey and chrome tonearm with a cream headshell, and the left-hand record stacking tower. Front controls read Manual/Automatic, On, Off and Reject, with a selector for 16, 33, 45 and 78 rpm. The cartridge is included, with a red flip lever for LP and 78 styli. A short spindle with cream cap and a power cord are pictured; no changer spindle or dust cover is visible. Condition: Sold as-is for parts or repair, no returns. Not tested, including the cartridge.
