A Victorian hallmarked silver button hook for use with gloves or shoes.

The silver handle carries a full set of hallmarks dating this piece to Birmingham 1899 (z) together with W.D  for William Devenport. 

The hook is steel and overall it measures 60mm (6cm) long. 

In very good condition, there is no damage; 

any wear in keeping with age and use; unpolished.
