The core design and material of the physical trophies for the 2014 UK Licensing Awards were exactly the same as the current design.
The 2014 trophies were hand-cast with a metallic pewter finish over a custom, sculpted base, manufactured by Conceptual Creations. The physical awards retain a uniform, iconic Art Deco appearance across the years.
However, if you are looking at the specific branding and categories for The Licensing Awards 2014, here is how that specific iteration stood out:
- The Theme & Graphics: While the physical statuette material remained the signature hand-polished pewter, the digital, print, and event branding featured a distinct purple and gold starry shield motif specific to the 2014 gala brochure and stage backdrop. [1]
- The "Hardware" Winners: Big winners who took home those pewter trophies in 2014 included Disney's Frozen (which cleaned up in multiple categories like Best Licensed Dress-Up) and Peppa Pig (Best Licensed Toys or Games).
