A Dual 1209 automatic turntable from the classic German line, mounted on its United Audio wood-grain base with the tall smoked dust cover. It is a good candidate for a restoration project or a source of spare parts for another Dual. The brushed-aluminium deck has the Dual 1209 badge, a platter with ribbed rubber mat and printed strobe ring, and 33/45/78 speed selection with variable pitch control. The start/stop lever and 7/10/12 in record-size selector sit on the front right. The tonearm has a counterweight, an anti-skating dial and a headshell with a cartridge fitted; the stylus has not been inspected. Power and signal leads are attached. A short spindle cap is shown; no changer spindle is pictured. Condition: Sold for parts or repair only, as-is, no returns. No function, speed or electrical safety is claimed. The front of the base has many pale spots in the finish, and the dust cover has scuffs and dust with some light scratching.
