This is a set of 1000 Lincoln wheat Pennie’s circulated.

There are 5 bags available ($ 10 face value).

What I know:

The set originates from an abandoned storage locker auction. The locker included various Brinks rolls all Lincoln Memorial in BU condition as well as 50 lbs of these wheat sets , 5 total.

I’ve shared in the pictures close ups of what appears to be very fine to AU on some. There are steel Pennie’s , and early dates , all mints can be seen for various years , early through 1958. There are a few , not many , Indians I can see in some bags. 1905 was the date I could identify. It does have 40’s and 50’s in it. so it is not all early year.

The bag seems to be a deposit bag, there appears to be an account number , have no idea what it represents or means.

The Pennie’s are in good shape , better than standard bulk buy Wheats I see on the market. I listed as fine to very fine , but do see as mentioned above some possible BU to AU condition and a fair amount I would rate at XF. They are nice bags !
