The dreadnought body and scalloped bracing produce a powerful, resonant, and rich tone, along with clear bass and a majestic bottom end, creating the classic Martin sound.
Spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides. Ebony fingerboard.
The herringbone pattern around the body perimeter gives it a vintage-like feel.
The nut width is 44.6mm (measured). The neck is not particularly thick, but its width provides ample versatility for modern playing styles. There is no major damage, and it is in relatively good condition for a used item.
There are faint pick scratches on the pickguard.
There are pen-tip sized dents, light scratches, and light scuffs all over the body.
In addition, there are minor scratches and slight dirt throughout from playing.
The frets show slight localized wear up to around the 2nd fret on the 1st and 2nd string positions, but this does not affect playability. Over 70% of the frets remain overall. The truss rod has a range of motion in both tightening and loosening directions.
Functionality has been confirmed. There are no issues affecting playability.
