Honoring the entire American Legion Family, this square lapel pin is printed to look like a stitched quilt block with the words Stitched Together For Our Veterans running around the sage green border. Four golden yellow squares hold the emblems of the American Legion Auxiliary, the American Legion, the American Legion Riders, and the Sons of the American Legion, each labeled ALA, AL, ALR, and SAL, with little stars anchoring the corners and faux stitching between the blocks. A glossy epoxy dome protects the colorful artwork. Dated 2014 2015 for the Department of Missouri on the back, it is a meaningful keepsake for Legion members, Auxiliary volunteers, quilters who make comfort quilts for veterans, and collectors of service organization pins.
