Murphy U472 1958 small Bakelite radio.
This little set is still quite usable once restored as it it has VHF coverage up to 102MHz
This set is sold as NOT WORKING it's not been powered whilst in my ownership.
Another victim of my change in focus to pre war radios.
Please see the pictures there is what looks like a small stress crack on the left hand side of the clear plastic loudspeaker grill.
The valve-holders on this set do not grip as well as some as there is a platform meaning the full length of the pins is not engaged.
To reduce the likelihood of vales falling out in transit bubble wrap has been placed inside the set please remove it carefully.
The set will come with manufacturers service information.
Whilst packing it I noticed the Murphy badge has fallen off, if I find it I will include it but you should bid on the basis that its missing and I don't have it.
The mains cable has been tucked inside the cabinet.
I will do my best to answer questions
