Nintendo Switch dock doesn't project to the tv when Switch is docked

Joycons are Nintendo brand, The one joycon the rail is broken so it doesn't acknowledge on the Switch, could be more wrong with it after replacing the rail ribbon. The other joycon, the a, x, and y button do not not work when pressed
