Here is a bespoke mortice lock tension tool specifically engineered to help locksmiths open curtain lever locks. This tool have been designed to be used with the Yale PM 562 but will work on the Union Strong bolt. This is a prototype for potentially making more in the future. These are made to order for now, so please allow 2 working days before it is despatched when placing order.
This video shows the tool working on a Union Strongbolt in a door frame. I will also be manufacturing custom pick wires and holders to accommodate this tool
The tension body is machined from T6 6082 aluminium and has a steel bar for tensioning. The groove in the centre is 2mm to accommodate a 1.6mm wire.
