Home decor / movie prop.
An elegant antique silver-plated teapot crafted from EPBM (Electroplated Britannia Metal), featuring a classic late Victorian or Edwardian design.
The lower body of the teapot is beautifully decorated with a detailed fluted/gadrooned pattern that catches the light wonderfully.
It comes with its original heat-resistant black bakelite handle and a matching decorative finial on the hinged lid.
The base is clearly stamped with the maker's identification mark "EPBM", serial number "3270".
The base features the traditional capacity number "4", which historically indicates that the teapot is sized to hold approximately 4 standard mugs making it a generous and practical size for family use or hosting.
As shown in the photos, the exterior retains a brilliant silver shine with minor surface wear, light scratches, and signs of use consistent with its age.
The interior shows the authentic dark grey finish typical of antique Britannia metal.
A stunning, functional collector's piece or a beautiful addition to an afternoon tea display.
