Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome.

You are looking at a very nice unused 1970's era Belden 8401 model microphone cable with the 1 conductor wires and shielded interior. These cables were commonly used as quality microphone cables and particularly well for dynamic and crystal microphones.

The Belden brand was a premium quality brand and quite expensive to obtain. The quality of these are so good that even 60 years later this cable is still like brand new being soft, pliable and free of any physical damage.

Belden was based out of Chicago, Illinois and I believe they may very well still be there but I might be wrong.

The original Belden aluminum spool comes with the cable being sold. I actually measured to cable and found that it's actually 47 feet long and not 50 feet as 3 feet of it was taken off at some point.

As you can see I spliced the cable to show you the shield and wire within.

This cable can can be used to make several shorter cables. I have other cables and mics for sale and I do combine shipping to save money. Thanks for looking.

METAL BELDEN SPOOL SHOWN IS PART OF THIS SALE.
