For sale is this professional, High End CRT Monitor NEC MultiSync FE991SB. This is a classic DiamondTron monitor made by Mitsubishi / NEC Display Corporation, the last iteration of their CRT line with the most advanced tube that they have offered in this size. Featuring the SuperBright technology which brings the contrast and luminance to insane levels, the image is literally the same as on, for example Diamond Pro 2070SB. Compared to the GDM-FW900, CPD-G400 / G500 or GDM-F520, this monitor is way brighter, reaches deep blacks almost immediately after power on, they also dont suffer from green tint or G2 drift. The entire calibration can be performed via the OSD service menu, without the need of an 3rd party software like WinDAS.

This is a perfect choice for playing Win98 / XP Era and older games, or watching colorful content like anime. With a proper DP=>VGA converter, you can also use it to play modern titles.

The image is simply awesome. Sharp, vivid, with deep blacks, saturated colors and good convergence right after start. The geometry, especially linearity, is superior even to the 2070SB which notoriously suffers in that department. Tube Power-On counter is currently at +- 9200 hours.

Monitor is in great overall condition. Screen surface is very preserved, there is a very small scratched area that I have tried to photograph (its invisible unless you search for it). Its a scratch on the film, not on the glass, it can be removed. Chassis is close to pristine, without any damage, dents or cracks. Few small scratches and scars on the plastic shell all around, visible on photos. Plastic parts are clean, without dirt, snow white with little to no sun discoloration.
