A SUPER 1950'S POOLE POTTERY, 'TRUDIANA' PATTERN, LARGE OPEN SUGAR BOWL.

Backstamp: 1952-55

Sizes: approx. 10cm diameter - 6cm high

Produced on the Streamline Shape tableware shape, this beautiful Sugar Bowl is decorated in the Trudiana pattern, designed in 1955 by Ruth Pavely, and based on a re-coloured version of a Truda Carter pattern, Trudiana features beautiful floral & leaf motifs in soft grays and browns, over an Alpine White glaze. The hand painted designs are very pretty indeed and are elegantly complemented by the Twintone colour Sepia.

In excellent clean condition free of any chips, cracks, crazing or surface marks.
