A Disney trading pin from the Hidden Disney 2025 Wave A: Ear Headbands series, Disneyland Resort, depicting an ear headband styled after Marie from The Aristocats, measuring approximately 3 cm across and supplied loose. The pin is die-cut in the shape of a mouse-ear headband, with the band and outer ears picked out in white enamel, the inner ears in soft pink, and a white tuft of fur rising from the crown. A large pink bow with a ribbon knot sits at the centre, and black Mickey-shaped ears appear behind the headband. The small black Hidden Mickey silhouette is set into the cat ear on the right-hand side as viewed. The polished silver-tone rim frames every element. The reverse is cast in the usual textured waffle pattern with a raised square logo block to one side and a raised text panel to the other reading DISNEY.

Condition & size

Pre-owned in Excellent condition. The enamel work is clean and bright throughout, with strong, even colour in the white, pink and black fields and no chips, cracks or losses visible. The silver-tone plating on the face is unmarked and still glossy. The reverse carries some light surface marks and faint scuffing to the plating consistent with handling and storage, and the cast detail there is a little soft in places, as is normal for this series. The pin is supplied loose, without card or packaging, and comes fitted with a standard Mickey-head rubber pin back. Please review all of the photographs closely, as they show the actual item you will receive and form part of this description.

Approx. 3 x 3 cm; approx. 10 g

Background

Hidden Mickey pins (latterly branded Hidden Disney) are Disney Parks' long-running cast member trading series, begun in 2005. Each wave is an open edition carrying a small concealed Mickey silhouette somewhere in the artwork, and the pins are released to cast members to trade with guests before later appearing in retail two-packs. The 2025 Wave A run at Disneyland Resort took ear headbands as its theme, with each pin recreating a different character or park-themed headband; the Disneyland set runs to seven pins including a Steamboat Willie chaser and a Sleeping Beauty Castle super chaser. Marie, the white kitten from Disney's 1970 feature The Aristocats, remains one of the most heavily collected characters in the pin hobby.

Who it's for

One for Disney pin traders building out the Hidden Disney 2025 Wave A ear headband set, Aristocats and Marie collectors, and anyone who collects the Disney Parks ear headband motif in particular. It also makes an inexpensive, easily posted gift or lanyard addition for a Disneyland or Walt Disney World regular.

Estimated Date

2025. The design matches the Marie pin from the Disneyland Resort Hidden Disney Series 2025 Wave A: Ear Headbands set, an open edition released in January 2025.
