This 1897 Barber dime has mottled gray and brown toning on the obverse, and dark gray (almost black) on the reverse over lustrous surfaces on both sides.  It has a rim bump at 5:00, and a scrape on the bust (not noted by ANACS, but noted here for accuracy).  It has been graded AU55 Details for the rim bump, which is noted on the holder.
