Ibanez SR506 Mahogany Brown Burst Low Gloss
Description
This 6-string model combines a slim neck design that caters to modern playing styles with versatile sound shaping capabilities.
The compact body, easy to handle, combined with a thin, easy-to-grip neck, provides stress-free playability despite being a 6-string bass. It boasts the comfortable feel characteristic of the SR series, without the difficulties often associated with multi-string basses.
Equipped with two Bartolini MK-1 pickups, it delivers a clear, wide-range sound. Furthermore, the 3-band EQ and mid-frequency switch allow for a wide range of sound shaping, from slap to fingerstyle and chord playing. It features a well-balanced sound with tight yet solid bass and naturally extended highs.
This versatile 6-string bass is easy to use across genres and excels in a wide range of applications, from recording to live performances.
Truss rod cover is missing.
The grub screw on the 3rd string saddle is stripped and slightly bent, requiring a wrench slightly larger than the original size.
The end of the bridge is warped and deformed.
Metal parts show plating loss, verdigris, and rust/tarnish.
Other than that, there are scratches and dents throughout, and signs of use.
The neck has a forward bow and high rise on the 6th string side, and a reverse bow on the 1st string side, with significant twisting and warping. While playability is not affected, lowering the string height further than the current setting will be somewhat difficult.
The condition of the set screws and neck are not covered by the warranty.
