A LOVELY WEDGWOOD 'GOLDEN JUBILEE' COMMEMORATIVE MUG,
BASED ON THE DESIGNS OF ERIC RAVILIOUS.
Size: approx. 10.5cm high - 9.5cm diameter
This beautiful Wedgwood mug, part of a long line in such commemorative items, uses the wonderful style and fireworks design of Eric Ravilious to mark the occasion of Her Majesty Golden Jubilee in 2002. The wrap-around pattern is complemented by stylised handle detailing and dates to the interior, all finished of with lovely gilt edging.
A fabulous Royal Commemorative in it's own right or a great addition to any serious Ravilious collection.
In overall very good clean condition free of any chips, cracks or crazing.
There is just a minimum of light rub to the gilt rim (hard-to-see with naked eye, but shown ruthlessly in final macro detail photos), but no further pattern wear.
