Offered for your consideration is a vintage Harrah’s Reno and Lake Tahoe glass ashtray, c.1960. Bill Harrah’s first gaming hall was established in late 1930’s Reno, Nevada. By 1955, Harrah’s had expanded to the Nevada side of nearby Lake Tahoe, and ashtrays of this style could be found at their casinos in both towns.

So, please have a look at the large photos I’ve taken and read the remaining description to decide if this Harrah’s shtray should be yours.

This Harrah’s ashtray is in clean, excellent good condition. It’s made from clear glass with four cigarette cradles and measures 3½” square by 15/16” in height with 2¾” bowl diameter. There are no cracks or chips noted on the glass. Plus, the red and white-enameled graphic on the underside is in great shape with no blemishes. And, there was no soot or residue in bowl/cradles before it was washed, which suggests very little use before coming home with some customer as a souvenir decades ago. Overall, it presents quite nicely.

As pictured and described, this Harrah’s Reno and Lake Tahoe ashtray is offered at a competitive price.
