A beautiful vintage-style decorative bowl combining a solid dark wooden lower section with a woven rattan upper section, creating a lovely contrast in texture and colour.
The rounded pot-like shape gives it a warm, earthy character, while the woven rim adds a handcrafted feel that works especially well with rustic, bohemian, natural and mid-century inspired interiors.
It would look excellent displayed on a shelf, sideboard or table, either left empty as a decorative object or used for lightweight items such as dried flowers, decorative balls, potpourri or small household pieces.

🌿 A Piece Made From Texture Rather Than Decoration
What gives this piece its appeal is its simplicity.
There is no need for elaborate carving or bright colour — the contrast between the smooth dark wood and the tightly woven upper section creates all the character it needs.
Pieces like this fit especially well into interiors where natural materials are the focus. It could sit equally comfortably among vintage furniture, houseplants, baskets, ceramics or collected objects from different eras.
Its rounded form gives it a soft, welcoming appearance, while the woven edge adds just enough detail to make it visually interesting from every angle.
