Orville by Gibson Les Paul Custom Alpine White 1991 #G102029
Description
Orville by Gibson Les Paul Custom Alpine White 1991 #G102029
Positioned between Gibson and Epiphone, the Orville by Gibson brand was a purely Japanese-made Les Paul Custom produced by Fujigen and Terada Musical Instruments from the mid-1980s to the late 1990s.
The Orville brand was divided into Orville and Orville by Gibson. Orville by Gibson, commonly known as "by Gib," featured genuine Gibson pickups and offered a more professional sound. Orville was said to offer high-quality instruments at a lower price than Gibson, and its rarity has increased over time.
This particular guitar has serial number G102029, was manufactured by Terada in 1991, and weighs 4.11kg. It features the classic wood combination of a maple top, mahogany back, and mahogany neck, and the fretboard appears to be rosewood.
The controls are simple: a 3-way selector switch with 2 volume and 2 tone controls. With gold hardware, split diamond inlays, and binding, it's a high-quality reproduction of a Gibson Les Paul Custom.
The pickups are original-looking humbuckers with the PATNO engraving. Furthermore, we have leveled the frets, cleaned the pickup selector and jack, and replaced the bridge, so the playing condition is excellent. This striking white Les Paul Custom, with its comfortable weight and ease of use on stage, is a must-have.
